Recovery Coaching in the Emergency Department
Recovery Coaching in the Emergency Dept. Program (RCEDP)
Emergency Department Recovery Coaching is available at both Mt. Ascutney Hospital & Health Center in Windsor (starting in 2019), and Springfield Hospital (starting in 2020).
We’re available to meet folks in the ED and inpatient at MAHHC & Springfield who may have questions or concerns about their substance or alcohol use. Through lived experience, empathy and motivational interviewing, we spend time listening to YOU. For those ready to start the journey of recovery, we can help navigate the process. Already in recovery and want additional support? Ask for a coach today & we’ll be there.
RCEDP Coaches are on call 24/7 and are paged through providers at both hospitals. Meeting with a coach is entirely voluntarily. Are conversations are free and confidential. As peers, we’ve been where you’ve been and is a pleasure to meet with you.
All RCEDP coaches are nationally certified and receive ongoing training and support.
